All Glass & Windows provides commercial-grade windows, doors, storefront systems, curtain walls, and architectural glass to projects across Florida. We work with general contractors, architects, designers, property owners, and property managers on new construction, tenant improvements, and retrofit projects, with our home base in Sarasota and commercial service across the state.
Commercial projects have different priorities from residential ones. Specifications have to hit exact design pressures, products have to carry the right Florida Product Approval documentation, permit coordination has to work across county lines, and installation has to fit the GC’s schedule. Below is how we approach commercial work and what we bring to projects in the Sarasota-Bradenton flagship area and beyond.
Commercial Glass, Window, and Door Services
We handle the full range of commercial glass and glazing work. Most projects involve more than one of these, and we coordinate the scope so you’re working with one installer across product categories.
Storefront Glass and Doors
Storefront systems for retail, restaurant, office, and mixed-use properties. Aluminum storefront framing, tempered or laminated glazing packages, narrow-stile and wide-stile entry doors with commercial-grade hardware. Configurations for standard retail bays and custom commercial openings, including impact-rated storefronts when required by code.
Commercial Windows
Operable and fixed commercial windows for office buildings, medical facilities, multi-family properties, educational buildings, hospitality, and institutional projects. Impact-rated and non-impact options depending on project zone and code. Configurations include fixed picture, project-out, project-in, casement, horizontal slider, and single-hung commercial windows.
Glass Curtain Walls and Facades
Curtain wall systems for multi-story commercial projects, mid-rise office buildings, and large facade installations. Stick-built and unitized options depending on project scale and access. Insulating glass units with Low-E coatings, tints, and spandrel panels available per specification.
Architectural and Structural Glass
Glass handrails, structural glass walls, interior glass partitions, curved glass applications, and other architectural glazing for commercial projects where glass is a design element rather than just a building envelope component.
Commercial Entry Doors and Hardware
Commercial-grade entry door systems, including swinging and sliding configurations, with panic hardware, automatic operators, ADA-compliant thresholds and closers, and commercial lock and access control preparation, where specified.
Commercial Project Types We Serve
We’ve installed commercial glass, windows, and doors on projects across nearly every commercial building category in Florida. Project types include:
- Retail and storefront. From single-tenant storefronts to multi-tenant retail centers, including mall storefronts, standalone retail buildings, and mixed-use ground-floor retail.
- Office buildings. Single-tenant and multi-tenant office, new construction and renovation, with emphasis on energy performance for Florida’s cooling-dominant climate.
- Restaurants and hospitality. Restaurants, bars, cafes, and hospitality entries where storefront glass is part of the brand presentation.
- Hotels. Guest room windows, lobby and conference glass, storefront entries, and exterior curtain wall work.
- Medical and healthcare. Clinic buildings, medical offices, and healthcare facility windows with considerations for energy performance, acoustics, and code compliance.
- Multi-family and condominiums. New construction mid-rise, high-rise, and garden-style multi-family projects, plus replacement programs for existing condo buildings.
- Educational and institutional. Schools, administrative buildings, and institutional projects where code compliance and durability drive specifications.
- Industrial and warehouse. Commercial office space within industrial buildings, loading-dock storefronts, and warehouse office glass.
Each project type has its own specification patterns. We work with the GC, architect, or property owner to land on the right product for the project.
Commercial Product Lines We Install
We represent commercial lines from the manufacturers we install for residential work, as well as commercial-specific product families. Commercial specifications often require products that aren’t carried in our residential lineup.
PGT Commercial
PGT Commercial is PGT’s dedicated commercial line, engineered for the toughest commercial and residential applications. Custom windows and doors designed to meet the design pressure and impact requirements of Florida commercial code. Widely specified across our commercial portfolio. See the full lineup on PGT Commercial.
WinDoor
WinDoor builds premium aluminum and vinyl systems with capacity for large commercial openings, including sliding door systems that scale to commercial sizes residential lines can’t match. Commonly specified for luxury mixed-use and multi-family projects. Configurations, testing, and approval details are on our WinDoor windows and doors product page.
Euro-Wall Systems
Euro-Wall folding and multi-slide door systems are specified across commercial hospitality, restaurant, and retail projects where opening entire walls to the outdoors is part of the design. Florida Product Approval and HVHZ-rated configurations available. Full specs and configuration options are on our Euro-Wall folding and multi-slide systems page.
ESW (ES Windows)
ESW is manufactured by Tecnoglass, one of the largest architectural glass manufacturers in the Western Hemisphere with extensive commercial heritage. Their residential impact lines bring commercial-grade engineering to Florida projects, and they also supply architectural glass for larger commercial builds. Configurations and Florida Product Approval documentation are on our ESW impact windows and doors page.
Marvin
Marvin offers impact-rated and non-impact commercial windows and doors in their Ultimate and Elevate collections. Commonly specified for architectural commercial projects where design flexibility matters. Configuration options and collection details are on our Marvin Ultimate and Elevate overview.
Florida Commercial Building Code and Permit Considerations
Commercial glazing in Florida is subject to specific code requirements that vary by wind zone, occupancy type, and county. We handle the code and permitting coordination as part of the project.
Wind zones and impact requirements. Florida’s coastal commercial projects fall into Impact Zone 3 (most of the Gulf Coast, including Sarasota and Bradenton) or Impact Zone 4 (High Velocity Hurricane Zone, which includes Miami-Dade and Broward counties). We specify products that carry the appropriate Florida Product Approval for the project’s location, and we handle the documentation for hurricane-rated commercial glazing where impact specifications apply.
Occupancy and use classifications. Code requirements for commercial glazing depend on the building’s occupancy classification under the Florida Building Code. Assembly occupancy, mercantile, business, institutional, and educational each have specific glazing requirements for tempered glass, safety glazing, and impact rating.
Permit coordination. Commercial permits typically run through the city or county building department where the project is located. We coordinate product approval documentation, design pressure calculations, and installation specifications with the permitting authority.
Working With All Glass & Windows on Commercial Projects
Commercial projects have a different shape than residential. Here’s how we approach commercial work:
For general contractors. We support the GC’s schedule and specification process, provide product options and pricing during bidding, coordinate submittals and approvals with architects, and handle installation per the project schedule.
For architects and designers. We support specification development, provide product data and Florida Product Approval documentation, offer value-engineering alternatives when a spec’d product doesn’t fit the budget or timeline, and walk through configuration options during design development.
For property owners and property managers. We handle direct-owner projects on existing commercial properties, including replacement programs, tenant improvements, and retrofit work. We coordinate with property management on tenant access and scheduling.
For developers. We work through commercial specifications on new ground-up developments, including multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial ground-floor retail within larger projects.
